Stephen King at his best. This is a very good, fast-moving story about a small town that is suddenly cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. The characters are very credible people, and each has different reactions to the situation--some who were community leaders before the dome came down, and others who were merely leading their everyday lives. It is interesting to see who copes with the situation and tries to find a way out, and who simply cannot cope.
I have only read one of Stephen King's recent books, and that is Lissey's Story (I hope I spelled it right)....I might need to check this one out!
