I am still reading The Shelters of Stone. It is a very good book and I have followed Ayla and Jondalar from the beginning of the series. I feel like they are part of my family.
When you follow a series like that, you truly do care about what happens to the characters. I feel that way about a few of the characters in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series!
